Fish Passage 2020 will be held from 28 June to 3 July 2020 in Lisbon, Portugal at the the National Laboratory for Civil Engineering (LNEC).
The AMBER & FITHYDRO Event will explore the tensions caused by the need to draw water and generate hydropower from European Rivers and the impacts dams and other barriers have on ecosystems and habitats, as well as the way novel technologies and adaptive management can help restore stream connectivity in more efficient ways.
From 24 to 26 September 2019, the international conference on dam removal and the restauration of the Sélune river takes place in Brittany and Normandy (Rennes / Avranches – Mont Saint Michel). This conference will feature the Sélune dams removals project. Many other examples from France and abroad will be the basis of inspirational exchanges and debate. This colloquium in both French and English is targeted at experts, scientists, managers, NGOs, government representatives, but also users of the Sélune river.
Im März 2019 fand in Fulda die 30. SVK-Fischereitagung statt. Zu einem hier gehaltenen Vortrag von Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Boris Lehmann, der sich u.a. mit Bemessungsempfehlungen für Fischschutz- und Fischabstiegssysteme befasst, wurde von Dr. Guntram Ebel eine kritische Entgegnung vorgelegt, die wiederum von Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil.
